Joseph J. Paun, MS, DC

Dr. Joseph Paun is a local boy being born and raised in South Holland, IL. Dr. Joe has a long history of being both an accomplished student and athlete. He graduated in 2003 with highest honors from The University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Chemistry. He attended chiropractic college at The National University of Health Sciences where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C.) in 2006, and most recently The University of Bridgeport where he received his master's degree (M.S.) in Human Nutrition in 2007.

Dr. Joe's passion for health, nutrition, and wellness started as a high school wrestler at Thornwood High School in South Holland, IL and continued as a collegiate wrestler at The University of Illinois. He also has dabbled as an athlete in the MMA world and in track and field where he has completed 4 Chicago marathons.

Dr. Joe has a true passion for being an early stepping stone in health care and providing low risk options in complementary care for patients' health and well being.

Sarah R. Paun, DC

One talk with Dr. Sarah Paun and you will quickly notice that she is not from around here. Born and raised in southwest Virginia, Dr. Sarah was exposed to natural healthcare at an early age. Her brother-in-law, Dr. Ray Tuck, hired a young Dr. Sarah (just Sarah at the time) to help care for patients in his chiropractic clinic. Dr. Sarah recalls, "I knew that was what I wanted to do. I loved caring for and being with MY patients." In high school, Sarah served as brass captain for the marching band.

While attending Radford University, Sarah took an interest in health and nutrition. She would go on to get her bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Nutrition. Sarah also started incorporating fitness into her daily routine as an undergraduate student. At Radford University, Sarah still remembers the first time she ran a lap around the track, something she had to work towards. She would add one lap at a time and soon, as the story goes, she was running 8 miles. Her determination to run a little bit further would culminate several years later when finishing the Chicago Marathon in 2006.

Dr. Sarah Paun attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL where she attainted her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree. While here, Dr. Sarah studied hundreds of additional hours to earn her certificate in acupuncture. Dr. Sarah prides herself on her ability to communicate, connect, and educate her patients. Her special interests include women's health, caring for the elderly, and acupuncture. She is always available for questioning and loves to work with patients that want to take charge of their health.
